We were excited to work with Conde Nast Brides Magazine this October to create a Bohemian English Garden Party scene to Showcase Giles Deacon’s latest couture collection.
Teaming up with Kitten Grayson Flowers and Palmbrokers, Wowgrass worked to bring the outdoors in at The Business Design Centre, London, with Fresh, Real, soil free grass to create an indoors ‘English Garden’. And the results were just unimaginable.
British designer Giles Deacon- The mastermind behind Pippa Middleton’s wedding gown teamed up with Bides to showcase some of his latest couture collection.
The room was dressed to represent a bohemian English garden party and elaborately decorated with REAL grass, delicate blooms and foliage. Visitors could step into the magical presentation to experience a unique sensory overload of colour, pattern, and embellishment from the couture delights.
Visitors were able to listen to Giles and Editor Jade Beer in conversation on Friday night as they discussed what goes into the making of a special bespoke gown, and gain an exclusive insight into how Giles works.
‘When designing a couture bridal gown, I always look for it to deliver a shared vision of myself and the clientís desires, a sense of uniqueness and timelessness and a bride who is totally at ease with it, so she can concentrate on having the most wonderful day,’ says Giles. ‘In that sense, a wedding is the perfect occasion to consider a couture dress. It may be a once-in-a- lifetime purchase, but it comes with the knowledge that it has been made for you with craftsmanship and consideration that is second to none.’
