As we entered into a new year at Wowgrass we spent some time reflecting on 2017 and what a cracker of a year it was.
We experienced new faces to the team with our new Sales and Marketing Executive, Sophie Moss, joining us and continuing to settle in.
We partnered with some fantastic event professionals within the industry. The Source Inspires, an event planning inspiration portal, with an extensive following of event suppliers and inspiration for all your event needs. Click here to view their website
Pearl & Pear another fantastic online platform for all things events and so much more. As they say “The UK’s only resource for the best suppliers in the events industry, Be forever inspired when creating your own extraordinary events” Click here to view their website
We kicked of the year in summer style, attending the London Summer Event Show. The London summer event show is a reasonably new show featuring event suppliers and upcoming “On Trend” Themes and products.
Followed by stands at The Event Production Show in London and Event-It in Glasgow.
We worked alongside 2B UK to create “The Gleneagles” project, a whopping 760m2 was installed for an event, that featured caterers, Axe Fighting, a huge geustlist and even a Highland Cow.
Our Wowgrass bar was as popular as ever and we even introduced to new Grass Sofas, available to hire, to our product portfolio. With plans for more hire products to come this year.
We created our first official Wowgrass Video. A short advert explaining where WowGrass has come from and what we can do with our product. This was filmed at the wonderful Saltmarshe Hall in Yorkshire. An idyllic venue for events in a rural setting. http://www.saltmarshehall.com/ Created by Northern Visuals, a Hull Video Production Company. http://northernvisuals.co.uk/
We also introduced a Lookbook of a wide range of previous projects to help with inspiration for upcoming projects and themes.
We participated in some exciting installation projects throughout the summer, some of which included an amphitheatre and a Ferris wheel.
Giles Deacon showcased his couture pieces in the Bohemian English Garden that Wowgrass helped to create for the CondeNast Brides Show.
As September drew closer we started planning the next round of shows. Which started off the “The Source Live”. A gathering of event suppliers and brands to showcase their offerings to industry insiders. We grassed the entire library which was then decorated by Festival in a box.
Then came one of our biggest shows of the year, Squaremeal – Venue & Events Live. We “Grassed” out the entire Terrace at Old Billingsgate overlooking the Thames. We brought in our grass sofas and grass bar for the show. Click here to view their website
2017 drew to a close with the opening of The Wedding Gallery, based at One Marylebone. A fabulous one stop shop for all things luxury wedding. A place that WowGrass are excited to be partnered with. Keep your eyes peeled for a joint venture. Click here to view their website
